Fossil Fighters (Japanese: カセキホリダー, Fossil Diggers) is a media franchise by Red Entertainment and Nintendo, also attributed to MT, Artdink and Spike Chunsoft. It launched on April 17, 2008 in Japan with the release of the original Fossil Fighters game for the Nintendo DS.

The games are strategic monster battling role-playing games, in which the player battles with dinosaurs known as Vivosaurs against other characters who raise them too. The Vivosaurs are brought back to life from fossils which the player digs up, using various tools both precise and dangerous to the fossil. The more carefully the player revives the Vivosaurs, the stronger they may become in battle. Furthermore, the player can integrate new fossils into existing Vivosaurs to strengthen them up.

There are three video games in the series, in addition to manga based on the franchise.
