Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition (Japanese: ポケットモンスターピカチュウ, Pokémon Pikachu), commonly known as simply Pokémon Yellow is a fourth, additional version to Pokémon Red, Green, Blue Versions. It was released in Japan on September 12, 1998, in Australia on September 3, 1999, in North America on October 19, 1999 and in Europe on June 16, 2000; and has since been re-released on Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console with wireless communications replacing Link Cable functionality.

This version includes small enhancements for the Game Boy Color, a different selection of Pokémon available without trading (though of the same 151 monsters), and a Pikachu as the starter Pokémon, which follows the player around and has its own special emotions with special compressed PCM audio clips for how it feels. Eevee and the Eeveelutions also replace the rival's starter. The original starters (Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle) are available through characters who give them out to the player, without having to trade to get them.

The game has received a remake, also featuring an Eevee version, called Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
